LDN RIDERS Brand Development

  • Launched the award-winning LGBTQ+ road cycling club LDN RIDERS following the COVID-19 lockdown to provide a safe and welcoming space for our community to train and socialise with like-minded cyclists.

  • Founded in September 2021 with just five members, the British Cycling affiliated club quickly became the UK's largest LGBTQ+ cycling club.

  • I built the club from the ground up in my spare time, establishing the brand identity, creating a social media presence, developing a website equipped to handle membership payments, and fostering a vibrant community.

  • Currently serving as both Chairperson and Head of PR & Marketing, I oversee a 12-person committee, ensure the smooth operation of the club, develop partnership experiences and design campaigns that promote awareness, membership growth, and retention.

  • Within 2.5 years, the club has experienced exponential monthly growth, garnered numerous accolades, generated thousands in corporate sponsorship, developed a full club kit offering and raised over £12,000 for the transgender charity Not A Phase.

  • Additionally, the club has been invited to celebrate LGBT History Month at the Houses of Parliament, featured in a book and exhibition celebrating queer sports individuals and teams, and showcased by media outlets such as GQ and GCN (Global Cycling Network).
